Where there is no vision, the
people perish, Proverbs 29:18. Following the same reasoning, where
there is no vision, a church perishes. What is your vision concerning
the First United Methodist Church of Houma? Do you see a sanctuary
that is filled to overflowing for each and every service? Does your
vision concern facilities or programs that we need in order to complete
our mission of making disciples for Jesus Christ? What will
our needs be in the year 2012?
The Vision Committee of our
church really needs your help and your input. Click on Share Your
Ideas below. We would like for you to include your name, but
if you wish to remain anonymous, please do so. If you happen to be
a computer-phobe, write out your vision and drop it in our suggestion box
in the hall opposite the church office. If neither of these means
of communication appeals to you, contact one of the members of the Vision
Committee. They are Jimmy Hardin, Barry Hoekstra, Hartwell Lewis,
Ray Moore, Rick Duet and Emily Elmore.
Each of us wants our church
to be the best that it can be. Please prayerfully consider what that
means to you and your family and join us in making it a reality.
May God bless all of our efforts. |
