LEADERSHIP INFORMATION
     In spring, 2001, the COM approved a resolution to supply new leaders with a copy (electronically or in print) of the Guidelines for their particular work area. Links to PDF versions of those Guidelines (found below) can be used to access and print the document that you need.  [NOTE: usage is restricted to FUMC Houma church leaders only]


NOTE: 
  The June 2002 issue of the Interpreter magazine is online in its entirety.  The issue is all about visioning and setting goals in the local church.  You can find the magazine (in PDF format) HERE(note: it's a large 852kb file).

     In 1996, the General Conference of The United Methodist Church changed the Discipline so that the local church has more control of its organization and structure.  FUMC Houma met in the summer of 1996 to address the changes.  While we decided to continue to operate in the same Administrative Board/COM model, we did make some changes as to the membership of each body.  Those changes are delineated below.
