First United Methodist Church, Houma, LA
OKLAHOMA MISSION TRIP
 Day 6 - Friday, July 17
The final day we picked up breakfast at McDonalds.  The main job for the day, which lasted till past 2 PM, was to tile the floor in the new Fellowship Hall.

Jonathon invents a new type of shoe.
Note: when we got home, we found Jonathon's wallet was glued into his pocket.

 Checking the job
Clint checks to see that we are doing it right.

Once it was done, we cleaned up and said goodbye to Cane Hill United Methodist Church.

After stopping to pick up Happy Meals at the McDonalds in Atoka, we headed for Robbers Cave State Park ... about 2 hours away.  We arrived and headed for the cave ... hangout for Jesse James, Belle Starr, and the gang from Houma, LA.

Then we went to the lake, where most of the group got into paddleboats.

Amanda and Rachel
Rachel's hat blew off into the water ... so that's what she looks like.

Some of them rode on kayak-type boats.

After the boating, they went swimming while Steve cooked supper on the grill.
No, it's not the castaways on Gilligan's Island.

We ate and headed back to Antlers.  Margie found out there were some buffalo at the Choctaw Headquarters on the way home and we rode by to try to see them, but it was too dark.
