Although we planned to arrive at Cane Hill by 7 AM, we
didn't arrive till 8 AM.
Steve took a group onto the roof to shingle.
Martha took a group to the old Fellowship Hall to sand the walls
and ceiling.
Tim worked on fixing the new Fellowship Hall doors and worked
with a group on the siding.
No Picture ... the camera was in my pocket.
Margie took "the tour" with Andy. Andy was a Choctaw Indian
who is very involved in the church. He was retired from the armed
forces and was alone ... his wife having passed away 3 years ago.
Andy was at the church the entire time we were there. They supplied us
with drinks and cookies. His brother Ted was also there much of the
time to help us with some things.
Andy and Ted LaFleur
Andy connected a hose (or hosepipe, right Margie?)
to their well and hung it from the church bell for us to wash (and cool)
off with.
About 1 PM, we left the site and went to McGee State Park, halfway
between Cane Hill and Antlers.
