PASTOR’S MESSAGE
"Moving Out”
This will be the first Sunday we will be worshiping in the Fellowship Hall.  Since the Fellowship Hall will be our worship space, the gym will be our fellowship space.  We intend to make the Fellowship Hall as much of a sacred place as we are able.  This will be the place during the renovation of our sanctuary that will serve as our sanctuary.  It may be crowded and it may be a bit uncomfortable, but it should serve us well for the next number of months.
Let me offer the following suggestions to ease our transition into this temporary worship space:
*Come earlier.  For the first few weeks at least, as folks are finding just the right place to sit, it might be a good idea to arrive a few minutes earlier than usual.
*Be considerate.  In order for us all to fit, we may be a bit closer to one another than we were in the sanctuary.  Please be considerate of each other as we adjust to our environment.
*Be friendly.  Smiles, hugs, handshakes and well wishes will make everyone feel at home, members and guests alike.
*Be constructive.  If you can think of a way to make our temporary space more comfortable, let me know.  I’m interested in matters concerning sound (can you hear what is going on?), environment (is it too hot or cold?), to comfort (is the arrangement of the chairs okay?).
The renovation process should be a great adventure for us as a church.  May God bless us as we move ahead.
                                                                      Peace!  Barry
