Prospective and Forgetful members' Class
At 2 PM each Sunday afternoon in March, I will be leading a Membership Class in the Fellowship Hall. This special gathering time is designed for anyone who is considering making this congregation their church home, or a member who wishes to take a fresher class on the principle practices and doctrine of the United Methodist Church . We will get acquainted with one another, learn some history, discuss major doctrines & emphasis, and learn who the church leaders are and how the church is organized. We will take a tour of our facility learning about the various ministries that happen here each week. We will discuss what it means to “uphold this congregation of the United Methodist Church with your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.”

One of the special benefits of members attending these sessions is an opportunity to meet new people. I look forward to seeing some of you and your friends at these sessions.

Blessings to all, Pastor Don

  YOUTH MINISTRY NEWS

This past weekend 8 of us went to Senior High Retreat at the Wesley Center in Woodworth. This year's theme verse was Job 14:7: For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease. We talked about trees and how their roots go deep into the ground. What does it mean to be rooted in our faith? Are we attending church, reading the bible, being in prayer with God? Our roots are what hold us to God. How deep are our roots?
