Along with the Education Work Area, Family Ministries cooperates in the sponsorship of a variety of events during the year for our entire church family. These include, but are not limited to, the Easter Egg Hunt and Family Picnic, seasonal events such as the Advent celebration, church wide dinners for Sundays and on special days, and occasional Sunday morning breakfasts before worship. Several times a year, Family Ministries sponsors special events featuring meals, entertainment, fun, and / or games. A nursery is provided for young children during the program. Everyone is invited to participate and enjoy the warm fellowship and sharing of events planned for our church family. Family Ministries works together with Children’s and Adult Ministries on many projects throughout the year. All families are offered the chance to enrich their Christian experience and become part or the community of faith here at First United Methodist Church. |
