Remembering Blaire

Blaire Nunally lost her brave struggle with cystic fibrosis on April 5, 2003.  In years past, cystic fibrosis meant an early death for children.  With modern medical advances and Blaire's commitment to surviving, she made it through 2 lung transplants and numerous obstacles ... but it proved too much for her in the end.

Our prayers go out to Jim, Jamy, and Jason Nunnally and all of Blaire's family and friends.  In this time of sadness, let us remember Blaire's strong spirit and what she brought to our lives.
If you would like to leave a message of remembrance,
there is a 'Remembering Blaire' section on the message board.

My Life Is Like a Bag of Balloons

My life is like a bag of colored balloons.  Like a balloon full of helium, I just float with the flow.  Sometimes I’m a red balloon.  When people make me mad, I pop.  Sometimes I’m a yellow balloon.  I’m bright like the sun shine.  I always do my best to stretch out and help others.  Since my parents are always looking over my shoulder, I feel like a balloon attached to a string.  When I’m sick or upset, I feel like a clown’s balloon being twisted into different shapes.  Other times I feel like a blown up balloon full of excitement, joy, and happiness.  When people ask me to do things with them,

I feel like a balloon that little kids love to take home from restaurants.  Sometimes I’m not a red or a yellow balloon.  I am multicolored.  I can be confused, or I can be happy at the same time.  I like being a balloon.  This is why I am a balloon that just floats with the flow.
