The church received this “THANK YOU” note from Jono of the Youth Works Program Staff. “Dear Pastor Barry and First United Methodist Church, I know this is a little late but I wanted to thank you for the wonderful meal and music you prepared for us. It was a great time for fellowship and the participants loved it so much. For all that you have done for Youth Works and me, we thank you. I will always be grateful for the work God is doing through your church.” WE COULDN’T MANAGE WITHOUT YOU! Many thanks to the following “handy” people who have given generously of their talents and time to our renovation: Frank Porter made many paperweights from pieces of the original altar. Rex and Lori Soule built cabinets and tables for our new AV equipment and they are operating the system. Vicki Aycock and Robin Laird headed up the BIG job of distributing pieces of the old stained glass to those who wanted some. They also found someone to take the leftover pieces. Jerry Lemley refinished the baptismal font to match our new furnishings. Please say “THANK YOU” to each of these people when you see them!
