VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Were you wondering where and when?  Well we’ve got the scoop for you!  VBS is all about Camp E.D.G.E. this year.  Experience and Discover God Everywhere!  Join us for an extreme adventure into God’s word!
When?   July 19th - July 23rd       What time?   6:00PM – 8:30PM
Ages of children?   Pre K – 6th Grade
   Deadline for registering is JUNE 30th!  Registration forms can be picked up or downloaded and returned to the church office!

Corrections to the Courier article....

It's not that the people financing it ran out of money. Attendance had dropped down to 2 ladies so there weren't enough people supporting the church.

The church wasn't moved to Crowley. We sold it and the money was used to build the Crowley church.

I don't do research for the Center for Louisiana Studies. I wrote a book for them in 1994 and just finished a rewrite for a fourth printing. And I'm currently writing another book.

I didn't say "our membership" kept bad records; I said all Protestant churches kept bad records.

I don't do research for Catholic churches. I said that for anyone doing genealogical research the Catholics kept great records.

The church rented places to hold services for the first 5 years. After that we worshiped in a house for 7 years and then built the red brick church on that spot in 1922 before moving to 311 in 1956.
